Majestik's steel watches collection is made entirely of 316L stainless steel. The case, the straps and the closing are made of this resistant and durable material to offer you a higher quality product.
316 stainless steel is an austenitic nickel chrome stainless steel that contains molybdenum. This material increases corrosion resistance, improves pitting resistance and provides greater resistance to elevated temperatures. The 316L stainless steel is an extra low carbon version of 316 type that minimises the precipitation of harmful carbides in the heat affected zone during welding. Type 316 L has less carbon, however its durability is not impaired and its corrosion resistance is not affected.
This material is the best way to offer a top quality product at a fair price. We will continue working to find more sustainable and high-quality materials in our future collections.
Eco-leather collection
In this section you will find our most sustainable collection. The watch case and strap clasp are made from 316L stainless steel. In addition to this, the straps in this collection are made from apple skin, a sustainable alternative to real leather.
The apple leather is made directly from the waste of the apple juice production industry. This second use prevents the decomposing of this material and thus, the production of methane. This responsibly produced vegan material is durable, breathable, UV resistant and hypoallergenic.
Using apple peels which have been wasted, reducing water use, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and not using toxic chemicals helps us meet our commitments to the environment; REUSE, REDUCE AND RECYCLE.
